11th May 2011 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 12-15 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot surf Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 11ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: I'm sure it looked windier than this and the weather station was recording gusts up to 24 knots. The forecast was for it to pick up as well, but despite being out on my biggest board and a big sail there was nowhere near enough to get going. I had a few attempts but ended up with a long walk of shame. Typically as soon as I'd packed up, got home, had a shower and started working in the garden it picked up! Oh well, you can't win 'em all. |
